Description
PD: photograph of Orangutan: ( pongo borneo ). Native to Indonesia and Malaysia, found only in rainforests on Islands of Borneo and Sumatra. Both species are endangered, the Sumatra Orangutan being critically threatened. Major efforts are being employed to rescue, and save these fellow planet travelers from extinction, with the " Orangutan Survival Foundation " leading the way.
